We have found a novel method for improving the mechanical properties of wood-plastics composites (WPC). The treatment of the component materials allows lower weights to be used for the same properties; the savings are important.
We are now developing this to industrial-scale use, in cooperation with professor Bledzki's Institut fur Werkstofftechnik at the University of Kassel, Germany.
